Anyone fancy a free pint?

iPint

As a frustrated 'Jesus phone' (iPhone) user that hasn’t been able to get his hot little (geeky) hands on a 3G iPhone yet I thought I'd at least upgrade to version 2.0 of the software so I could sync my email properly and play with the app store.

Lots of good stuff on there, but the highlight has to be iPint.  As a piece of branded content/entertainment it’s perfect. And it's free!

So simple: play the game and if you manage to slide your pint the full length of the bar you get an iPint to drink.

Carling have got it spot on with this one.  Congratulations to Carling and their agency (whoever they may be).

For those of you without an iPhone, there's a movie on the Carling site that you can have a look at: iPint at Carling

Right, I'm off down the pub for a real pint now.  Think I'll have a Carling.

Cheers

Dominic

iPint, what a moment, this could truly be a first, when brand, experiential and gaming come together to let consumers experience a physical product anywhere they may choose… well virtually.

It’s portable viral for use as social currency, most likely down the pub. It’s virtually a bit good too, even if the novelty will only last as long as a real pint, which do I prefer? Hmm?
